We were told to put our Beagle on a hydrolyzed dog food to possibly help his fur. He seems to like it and so do our cats. we had to put in a tub so the cats would stop ripping a hole in the bag. we havent seem any improvements with his fur and its pretty pricey. we were told to give it 6-8 months and see how it goes. he is a smaller pup so the bag last us almost two months. probably going on a month and a half, which is nice not to have to spend that kind of money every month.

Life Saver

My Frenchie is pretty much allergic to air. I have tried many brands from top shelf to fresh food and BLUE HF has been a lifesaver. Not only does he really love to eat it, but his GI health has drastically improved. He no longer vomits from his food. 10/10

Saved my dogs life

My little puggle developed a severe food allergy at an older age, she is now 14. She could no longer keep any food down…nothing! She would either vomit or have liquid diarrhea all day long. She got so severely sick and skinny that we almost had to put her down. My vet suggested hydrolyzed protein food (a different brand), and it worked, for a little while. But then got worse. We searched and found Blue Buffalo HF and she immediately turned around. She loves the taste, has her full appetite back, and is back to her old self. She loves feeding time again and her poop is almost back to normal (hasn't been normal in years). I can't say enough about this food. I'm so glad it exists and works. I am not sure how frequently dogs develop an allergy or denial of protein, but if you find your dog in a situation like that, this is the food. It saved her life, literally.
