Apply the toner to freshly bleached blond hair, wait 10-20 minutes, rinse, condition, and then rinse again. One White Toner hair kit is suitable for very short, cropped hair and roots up to 1 inch long. this is the only diy toner in the box that I have found to take the orange out of my dark brown hair. It won't dry out your hair out. I have lots of hair so I use 3 boxes. The direction says 20 min. but leave it in for 1 hr. It gives me the most gorgeous shinny vanilla blonde like I spent $450 at the salon. I use it every 8 weeks to maintain my color. I no longer use purple shampoo because it darkens my blonde. Get it. Its worth the price.
