I recommend this grill.

Best electric grill I ever bought. Hot, 749 degrees max. No problems reaching 600 degrees. Use as grill or small baking oven. Too bad they discontinued making them. I bought 2 for the great price. Keep making this grill.

I have connected to a 20 amp dedicated circuit and it works quite well. I have had for about two months and have used it 6 to 7 times to grill burgers, hot dogs and salmon. It heats well and has consistent heat over the entire grilling area. It does take a bit longer than with a gas grill but not a noticeable problem. My only real complaint is the size is too small so if grilling for a large group, it will take some time with more coordination of keep already grilled items warm while trying to grill more. I know a larger grill will require more power but seems like that would be a good option.

BAD!! Blaze 21-Inch 1500 Watt Electric Grill On Pedestal

I have had the same issue as the other person that reviewed this unit last August. I purchased mine around the same time and the unit was never consistent and never gets hot. It now does not even get power to it. Purchased the warranty as well and that has been a pain to work with on getting this fixed. Would not suggest buying this grill or any warranties that come along with them. Very disappointed in this purchase that was around $2k.
