RECOMMENDED BREWING METHOD:
The âGolden Ruleâ is a 18:1 ratio. That is one part coffee for every 18 parts water. That works out 10 g of coffee per 180 ml of water. In America, that is 2 TBS of coffee for every 6 oz of water. Too little coffee will make a bitter cup and too much will make your coffee too strong or sour tasting for most people. Since Coffee is 98% water, its quality is essential to making good coffee. Filtered water is best since it is relatively free of particles and contaminants that can affect the taste of the coffee. Water should be 200 to 204 degrees to properly extract the flavor from the ground coffee, thatâs just short of boiling.
STORAGE TIPS:How should I store my Black Rifle Coffee? How long will it last?
The thing to keep in mind when storing coffee is humidity. Keep your coffee away from humidity until it is brewed. Storing it in a dark, airtight container at room temperature will keep your ground coffee good for 60-90 days, whole bean good for 6-9 Months when stored properly.

The coffee quiz led me to this Five Alarm roast and it did not lead me wrong. I usually enjoy my coffee cold brewed but my first taste of this fantastically smokey coffee came through my Aeropress as we were experiencing a rare northern in south Texas. But today my friends I go to try this roast through tried and true cold brew ant it was even better. I am excited to keep trying these amazing roast and am afraid I might have found my go to roast on my first order. But that's not a bad thing.

So we are an LEO family and subscribe to the "Best Of" batch every 21 days so we never know what is gonna show up. My HPD hubby took one look at this bag and rolled his eyes. However, after 2 mornings in a row, has declared it quite smooth and a nice subtle roast. I myself drink it both hot and iced and personally think it's better on ice. The cold cuts just that slight acidity I taste. I love the "Best Of" subscription! Luckily, so far every bag we've tried has been great to wonderful to fantastic to phenomenal! We have yet to experience any "grocery store level" roasts.
