I searched high and low for a good wire loom for my engine compartment. Amazon sellers are listing HDPE loom as "high temperature" which it is not. Nylon has a much higher melting point, is way more durable and this loom checks out based on density. (Nylon density is greater than HDPE and will sink in water). In addition the price for 50 foot this was better than 20 feet of the HDPE loom on Amazon. Better price, better product. One more thought. How is it that my 1979 chevy has completely intact wire loom with no issues, but my 2012 chevy has wire loom that will just crumble when it is touched after 110K miles? I purchased this to replace all of the crumbling loom on the 2012 and it should last much longer.
