Before mixtapes took over the streets and the likes of G Unit and the Diplomats became the sound of New York, P&P records and it's various imprints such as Queen Constance were the soundtrack for the city's restless youth. Big Break Rapper Party is a cross section of original school rappers from Hip Hop's earliest days... days when Hip Hop was a movement that had barely made it downtown much less around the world. Back in the Big Break Rapper Party day there was plenty of bragging and boasting over rhythms just too funky and aggressive to be played in the discoth?que's of the era. These tracks document those early days of Hip Hop. Days when the likes of Peter Brown, Bobby Robinson and Paul Winley helped create the blueprint for what would become the multi-billion dollar industry known today as 'The Game.'
