Very quick and easy to make
This chocolate chip cookie brittle was recommended by my daughter so I purchased these for my grandson who loves the bags of ready made cookie brittle. He really liked it although it wasn't as hard and crunchy as we expected it to be as we were thinking it would be like the crunchy brittle we buy. We left it in the oven for the maximum amount of time, thirteen minutes on the bottom rack, so next time we will try top rack since the bottom of the brittle was crunchy but the top was not. It is very quick and easy to make, just soften a stick of butter and add the mix and spread on cookie sheet and bake.

I think this is an excellent product. The parchment paper protects my pan and the brittle peels off with no problem. I've only made it twice but I can see how the wrong oven temp could ruin it. The temptation to turn up the heat is hard to resist but have faith and just follow the recipe. It's good stuff.
I was pleasantly surprised with this product. Too
I was pleasantly surprised with this product. Took less than 5 minutes to prepare, then careful watching in the oven for between 13 and 21 minutes (which means hovering over the oven) Then quickly cooling and breaking into pieces. Very tasty, lots of peanuts...some in every bite...and honey flavor. Great product to teach kids to make and eat (help younger ones take it out of oven. Good to keep on hand. Congrats Betty Crocker. YOu've got a winner. Hint: make sure the middle is not humped up because by the time it is golden the edges may be too brown. PS I buttered my parchment paper instead of putting the mix directly in the 8 inch square
