The directions state that you will only need a couple of sticks to start a fire and at first I was skeptical, but I followed the directions and was pleasantly surprised. These firestarter sticks catch fire fast and they burn clean. They burn hot and seem to last long enough to catch the rest of my logs really well. I love having this box of firestarter nearby because I don't have to search for leaves and other types of kindling that smoke heavily.

Made from pine tree stumps (where resin naturally resides in a hardened, non sticky state), with the sweet aroma of pine, these starters light easily with a match, even when wet, and are completely natural and chemical free.
