These plates have some weight to them, but not overly heavy. The design with the lip is wonderful! By having a lip instead of a graduated height you are able to utilize more space on the plate and still keep broths, gravies, juices, etc. from spilling. They are versatile for whatever food you would like to serve on them. These were packaged with care and considerable thought which allowed them to arrive unharmed.

For starters the plate is very durable. Still no chips, scratches, or anything. It has a great weight to it as well. It's pretty easy to clean seeing as it's pretty much flat minus the lip around the edge which helps keep food on your plate. Perfect size, very sleek, and amazing price. Definitely recommend.
