Better than velvet ! Just wished I would have found these before I bought all velvet hangers. Like them so much I want to switch them all out again and donate the velvet ones. My husband doesn't like the velvet hangers as his clothing is like Velcro on them. Clothing slides off but doesn't slip off on these new hangers. Better price than the velvet hangers.

These are terrific hangers. They are smooth but actually have grip so clothing stays in place. They are thin so your closet holds more items and they hang neatly. I have redone my entire closet with these hangers. I used to use the “velvet” hangers but those broke and became worn. They stained and the velvet eroded. These are a much better option. The price is great, too!!
