The bulb has a nice quality look about it, and it's brighter and bigger than I thought it would be. I would say that the glow is a subtle amber. The first two pictures are the amber bulb, and the second two pictures are a standard bulb, the last picture is a comparison.

These bulbs arrived on time and were not broken. I ordered them as replacements for a lamp that shows the bulb as part of the overall design. They aren't attractive and as to the design and vibe that I was looking for in my bedroom lamp. I would recommend them to anyone looking for aesthetically pleasing light bulbs.
