Very good choice for around the house.
This is my third time purchasing these light bulbs. They are supposedly good for thirteen years so that makes the initial expense seem justifiable. I use them in most all of the lamps around my home. The 35 watt with the smoked glass in the daylight choice for type of bulb makes a pleasant low light for most everywhere. I have fairly good eyesight so they are fine for my reading light as well. However if you want a brighter bulb choose a higher watt than these 35's. I like the daylight feature since they actually are very much like natural daylight. When I forget to turn one off and I wake before sunrise I have actually thought the sun was already up. I recommend them.

Lights work great, great appearance and plenty of light. Originally bought 12 about 2 years ago and only 1 burned out and needed to be replaced.
