I live in a rental house. Have been here for 10 years. The house is so dated that the owner allows me to do what I want when it comes to changing out futures and painting. Recently gave everything a fresh coat of paint and next on the agenda was swapping out the dated light fixtures. The previous fixture was probably original to this 1940's house. So this was a much awaited update. Let me start off with letting you know I had NEVER changed out a light fixture until this one. And it was ridiculously easy. The fixture included everything you needed. It also included an adjustable bracket and wire nuts. Oh and it also included the lightbulbs! Very nice quality dimmable light bulbs. The instructions were pretty straight forward. Remove the old light fixture, disconnect the wires, attach the adjustable bracket, connect the wires, and then you just slide the main fixture onto the long screws that go into the bracket. Twist on the little decorative balls, all the shades, and boom. You're done. Although the future is lightweight, it still felt very study. The light shades were thicker and sturdier than anticipated. And they were painted white on the inside to help reflect the light down.
