Beautiful desk, assembly can be challenging

Let me start by saying, I love the finished product. It's made from solid materials and looks great. It was exactly what I was looking for. That being said, the instructions are pathetic, at best. I've put together many pieces of furniture that use a similar assembly method. Good thing, because there were very few written instructions. Basically, several diagrams with how pieces were to fit together, but no order listed. As a result, putting it together took twice as long, as you had to analyze the diagram and figure out which step to do first, second, etc. The assembly was not difficult, it just would have been much easier if they'd included written instructions.
