This bed frame looks super! In fact, it looks better than the pictures when looking up close at it. I used to manage an upper end retail store department, and I was very familiar with the linen department in the same store. So you'll love it. I might have preferred something with a little taller backboard, but this one is hard to beat! And I mean cost wise too. And to any customers' happy surprise is that if you are even rather slightly educated at assembling such things, it easy to do.....and I mean by yourself even. No joke! I am a guy weighing 220, and I could do it rather easily too as you can put the legs on the headboard, and set it up against the wall and complete the assembly quite handily alone as the headboard is sturdily built...but it doesn't weigh tons. Yeah. No kidding. You'll love it! My only very slight problem was that one of the slats that the mattress sits on had a slight crack. But it didn't make much of any difference as no one would have seen this as it was hidden under the mattress...and it didn't structurally, and wouldn't, affect the strength of the frame in holding up the mattress....no way! Take it from someone who knows quite a bit about architecture as I took drafting/engineering classes in college. So there!! No problem!! And you need NO tools to assemble it as it comes with the only required tool for it...an Allen wrench. That's it! The frame is mostly made of metal too....Soooper!!!! So it doesn't have a cheap feel too it. You'll love it!!! :)
