I had difficulty getting the sections connected, but once they were connected, they were very snug and it's ready to go. I plugged the tree in press the button to turn the lights on this is a pre-lit tree and the lights don't work. I recheck my connections. love the tree. It's what I was looking for in terms of size and height. It is quite a bit of work to put together and fluff. You really have to work to fluff this tree in order to get the full look. My husband and I did it together and it took about and hour or so...that's the negative part. I would recommend.
