Love this umbrella!! It turns so easily, it closes so easily, the shade it gives is great coverage from the sun. The solar lights are really just for looks but look beautiful :) The base is big but it has to be for the size and movement of the umbrella.

This is exactly what we needed for a small patio that gets a lot of sun. It was easy to assemble but you will need two people or one very strong one to get the umbrella into the base, once the base is filled. The solar lights have an on/off switch. I leave it off in the day so the battery charges and turn them on at night. They are very nice. I recommend considering pea gravel as a weight for the base - much easier to get inside the base., and get a big auto funnel to funnel the gravel into the base. The base comes in 4 parts which was helpful because I could move each one by myself - I am fit, but a 69 year old women.
