I tend to go through A LOT of string! If there is anything to get hung on, believe me, I'll find it! In saying that, I haven't lost a single lure since I chose this string! Yes, it's definitely an overkill, well for most people, but not to me! I've pulled up BIG limbs and even a trolling motor! Kinda gave me that "you can't stop me now" kind of attitude!

Usually use Berkely Fireline. Trying this because it's much cheaper. The diameter is good. It's easy to handle. Casts great. Ties on mono/flouro leader with FG knot and holds great. We'll see how it holds up but at the price vs other braids you can change it more often and keep fresh line on.

Good price on decent braid. It's a little loud through the guides, being a 4 carrier braid, but it is fairly abrasion resistant (as far as braids go). The crystal (white) color is a bonus for me.
