It s pretty sturdy. It's a lil weird to put together if you've never put together furniture but it's doable! I'd recommend keeping a screwdriver handy but it does come with an Allen wrench Make sure to pay attention to the boards as I got my shelves reversed but they're still very usable ! The storage underneath is very nice
