This is a beautiful table. Solid wood in a deep semi-gloss stain. The texture is smooth as silk. I know this table will last a very long time and I'll be proud to pass it along to my daughter. An unbelievable bargain for the quality of the product. Yes, you should buy this table! Big big plus - it's perfect for a mid-century dining room.

Great Kitchen Table

I bought this table for my daughter. The styling is mid-century mod, and it looks great! It was packaged very well, and easy to assemble. The quality is good, it's heavy, and it could be solid wood all the way through. It's mid size table, no leaf, but it does have a under shelf that can be utilized, but I think it's there to create stability. One review said not to place anything too hot on the surface for fear of bubbling the top, so for sure we'll use trivets (something I do anyway); I guess it's not solid wood if it bubbles.

Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern Dining Table!

This dining table far exceeded my expectations! The walnut finish is beautiful and it looks incredibly high quality in person. I was nervous to order furniture online, but am so impressed by this product. This dining table is the perfect anchor piece for my dining room and looks so trendy and fresh. I love it!
