The planters look great on my porch. Easy to initiate getting the plants into. I thought they were self-watering, but I had mis-read. I still really like them. Lots of drainage due to drilling holes (easy to do) in the plastic base and the artificial base, where your plant material goes. Easy to get the flowers into and looking great.

Love these tall containers!
I have two of these tall containers in my courtyard. The blue is a great shot of color in a brick courtyard! The shape is interesting and adds to the overall view of the plants. The holes are so easy to drill for outdoor planting, and the hole to fill the bottom part of the container is a good size. It was easy to "weight" it. The gravel in the bottom, along with the soil in the top, make it a nice, sturdy planter.
