Bedz King Tall Bunk Beds Twin over Twin Mission Style with End Ladder and 2 Under Bed Drawers, Dark Cherry

I spent about 2 weeks looking online for sturdy bunk beds for 2 adult weight teenage boys w/o spending a fortune on custom made adult sturdy bunk beds. I was a lil hesitant purchasing these beds because all reviews from Walmart,Amazon,and the bed company itself was from parents/grandparents with young kids. Not one review from a parent with teenage kids. Let me tell you this bunk bed has held up very well for two 15yr old boys. Husky adult weight teenage boys I might add. We put a 9inch innerspring mattress on top and bottom. The top bunk has a sturdy piece of wood that runs down the middle from one end to the other so the slats don't start bending but the bottom bunk doesn't come with that piece of wood but the slats hasn't started bending yet and I feel as though the slat boards won't because each bunk has 14 slats under each mattress.Like I said this bunk bed can work for teenagers! Me being 43 and weighing 175lbs felt very safe on top bunk. The bunk bed is very sturdy and doesn't wobble,sway,or creak. We chose the grey color which the boys liked. I do however plan to add some kind of grip material to the steps of ladder because the steps are slick with socks on. Think it's due to the shiny paint. The instructions do need more written words and not just pics. There is a video showing a man and woman putting these together but they don't even speak in the video. So you gotta pause at each step.It took about 3 maybe 4 hours to put together and that was with taking a break halfway through. Single mom with kids helping so a break was much needed during the build process. Lol. I haven't put together the under drawers yet but plan too this weekend. I'm sure they will be just as sturdy but much easier to build. Lol
