This is a large piece. It is a table top metal shape with colored bands of metal raised by two balls, one on each end of each color panel, in other words, the bands of color are not flush with the background metal rectangle. The problem I had with this was that in shipping, they used one sheet of bubble wrap in the box w/fed ex delivery. There was the normal shipping box damage and the bubble wrap was completely popped at that end, resulting in about 3 or 4 of the colored bands bending on that end. I was able to bend the, back, but the dents are there...however, it does blend with the highly distressed look, so I'm not going through the hassle of sending it back. It is, for the size, fairly light weight, so though long, it is easily handled to hang. I had hoped and sort of assumed the bands of metal were either painted, or welded/glued flush to the bottom metal rectangular shape, as I kind of had hopes of using it for a table top. With the raised panels, I will hang it now. I do like it, I just think it could have executed a bit better....and I like specifics in the details. The colors are a little more intense, finished with a gloss sheen and there are cut outs made to resemble rust holes. The "brown" looking panel is actually the underneath, with no colored piece of metal over it. Sort of like it's missing a piece, but that is how it is designed. I am a bit particular and would have preferred a bronze or brown panel, but...it is what it is. I hope this helps the next person so there will be no surprises....but mainly, I hope shipping wraps the pieces better since the color (tin?) panels are subject to bending on the end -s and if anything hits the edges of the box in shipping (duh), it will bend the ends. I still like the piece, and despite my details here, yes, I'd recommend it, with the above caveats known.
