1. Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Add salt to taste, if desired. Add pasta to boiling water. Stir gently. 2. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Good product, good value, good flavor
I've tried many types of whole wheat pasta, and Barilla is definitely the best. Not as heavy as some, not as "light" on the whole wheat as others. It has a nice texture and flavor, and these elbows work especially well in pasta bakes. Even my mother will eat them, and she is not generally fond of whole wheat pasta. :)
