Bar Harbor Smoked Wild Kippers, 6.7 oz Tin-free steel Can

Best tasting canned fish I have ever had. Real and genuine wood smoked. No bones, guts, fins, or heads. Very clean. The package shown says that they are from Canada. The one I received said that they were from Latvia. Latvia is a long way from the gulf of Maine and Bar Harbor.

In water, and they tend to be more mushy than our usual Polar brand kipper smoked herring. Decent but moderate smoked flavor. Good quality herring, we didn't encounter any bones either. We'll stick with the Polar brand but this brand would be good as the label mentions, as a substitute for tuna in salads or whatever.
