Perfect for minimizing messes
I purchased three of these once I bought my Sony HT-XT1 Soundbase. The old, long, stiff, clumsy cables didn't cooperate with my setup. Swapping them out for these thinner, shorter cables made all the difference in the world. Even though my equipment isn't going to get moved around a lot, the extra flexibility lets me bundle the cables up neatly.

I purchased this cable to connect my Sony 4K UHD television with a Sony soundbar/subwoofer speaker. The result is outstanding picture and sound! I am very happy with the cable, and, in fact, I have ordered another one.
