Hunts tomatoes are the gold standard for me when it comes to canned tomatoes. These Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes add the extra smoky and bold flavor I need for certain dishes. BBQ, Mexican, Mediterranean and more. I have so many uses for them, and they are top quality with firm ripe tomatoes, then roasted for that special flavor. These can be stored for a long time, so if you don't need them now, they will be ready when you are. They are also a terrific value for the price. We highly recommend trying them, and once you do, you are hooked. We give them 5 stars.

Although diced, pieces were large enough to have decent chewiness. Tomatoes tasted fresh. Use this with freshly diced onion, parsley (instead of cilantro), lime juice, and a little salt to make pico de gallo. There is a variety with green chilis (jalapeno), but a bit more spicy than I and my family care for. If I want more spice, I can add some Louisiana hot sauce (not as vinegary tasting and sweeter than Tabasco sauce), but then my family doesn't like the heat, so I just add to my portion. A little higher priced than the store brand, but worth the added cost.
