The reason I bought this brand was because good housekeeping said it was a good air conditioner so far I've only had it in for a few days but it's very very quiet that keeps the room real cool so right now I'm satisfied with it And it also has a washable filter which I like that

I have purchased my share of window units. This one is, by far, the best one …..ever! You have to walk up to it to know it is running. No joke. It is exceptionally quiet. I am waiting to see how efficient it is regarding electricity but so far it looks to be good.

In the dead heat of summer the A/C went out in the neighbors house. This was purchased and amazingly done a good job helping her make it through the extreme heat wave. It seems to be built well, looks good and the remote makes it more convenient to change the settings especially for little ole grandmas :)
