Common uses for the Dremel sanding disc include smoothing and shaping wood or removing paint. Dremel sanding discs have a finer grit than Dremel sanding bands, and because they mount on a Dremel 402 mandrel, they provide a flexible surface that allows sanding in contoured and hard-to-reach areas. Sanding discs work well on fiberglass and in removing rust from metal surfaces.

Great sanding disk

The 220 & 240 are great for finishing.
However, they take VERY LITTLE abuse. If they run off and catch the edge of the piece you are working on they self destruct quickly. The other problem is I cannot find them locally and as yet can't find them on-line either.
