i have to admit that when i ordered this, i wanted to be sure that it would withstand the weight of plants with the pots and dirt. However, it's very sturdy and easy to assemble. There are no screws. The feature that i like best is that although it does come with instructions and shelf placement (which, for the most part you want to follow), it does allow for you to make some decisions for yourself. For instance, there are three squares that are totally open. 2 go in the middle of, but find sight being 20/20, I will be moving these compartments to the very top allowing me to put bigger pots in and just letting them hang instead of sit on the shelf. You can also alienate the direction of the slats on the shelf or have them all fling in the same direction. There is room for hanging plants and lots of room if you have plants that vine. It also comes with a few weed Xtra pieces, which i randomly put together to allow plant/ garden ornaments to hang from.
