I would recommend these.

These are great. Don't ride up and have some support. I usually wear a size 14 in pants and have a larger butt and thighs so I ordered these in an XL. Even at the larger size I wouldn't call them "granny panties". I think they're pretty. These do not cut into my legs and also wash up nice. Very comfortable. My favorite support undergarment I could wear everyday. Wish they came in more colors. To me they are worth the extra cost.
