This item came in before the delivery date so I'm happy about that! The packaging seems steady enough to keep my item safe from damage. I've used bars in gyms and I've honestly never seen one in this good of a condition when brand new. There is no damage when this arrived and it seems to hold it's weight. i haven't tested the max durability because I'm definitely not that strong and don't have enough weights to test it either way but it's good for the amount that I'm lifting. I recommend this especially how there are few out there right now if you're lucky to find this in stock.
