Great product

I had first bought the LG blueray from Walmart.com and realized after I got it I had bought the wrong one. This one was wired and I needed wireless. I should have paid better attention to the reviews because I recall someone saying you would need a Lan line to hook up to my modem. I didn't want a line running from my livingroom to my bedroom. So, I returned it to my local Walmart and got the wireless and now everything is great!! Lesson learned is that I will read the reviews a little better from now on.

the player is designed to be a streaming service, and I only bought it to play dvd's and blueray. The set-up can be a little confusing, or intimidating, for that reason. If you only want to play dvd's and blueray, then just pop the disc in the machine, and it acts like a dvd player again. Simple.

Excellent Buy

My LG Blu-ray disc player has performed very well in the short time I have had it. The disc playback is excellent and the picture outstanding. My personal experience with Blu-ray players has not been good. This is the fourth player I have had in the passed two years so my satisfaction with this unit is tempered by that fact. But so far, so good. The units features include an internet connection(which I have not used and probably won't as I use my TV as a computer monitor) However I do use the USB feature and it has performed excellently. The videos and photos are easy to find with great playback. Other brands I have had performed just ok in this mode. All and all my experience with this product has been great. Just hope it stays that way.
