The coffee maker is quiet and operates great. I like the single serve side because of its convenience, speedy and I don't have to use a k-cup, but my own grounds. We recently purchased the 2-in-1 Coffee Maker to transition away from our Keurig (but still have the ability to use our pods) and be able to make a pot of brewed coffee.
