The Design House 190723 Privacy Door Knob is used in bedrooms and interior applications and features a locking button on the inside knob (no keyed device on the outside knob). This knob can be opened in the case of an emergency by depressing or turning the locking mechanism on the inside. This unit is finished in satin nickel, designed for left or right hand doors and fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4-inch and 2-3/8-inch). Use this knob on standard 1-3/8-inch and 1-3/4-inch thick doors with a cross bore 2-1/8-inch diameter or edge bore 1-1/16-inch diameter (1 inch x 2-1/4 inch radius corner faceplate). Low quality and flimsy break on u before using
Very low quality I've installed many door knobs and what happened with these idk what to say ….. first I unboxed the cylinder a piece fell and idk how it went back on but that made the cylinder useless . The second door knob I was having issues attaching knobs and it finally went in and as I screwed the knobs together the lock switch fell off ! All of these are very loose and flimsy !
