Most of the bike was assembled when shipped so I was able to easily put it together, get some air in the tire and get my son on his way. I do wish it came with a kickstand since I did not use the training wheels because my son rides two wheels

"Sick" Bike

My son is 7 years old (45" tall), and he loves this bike. He is on the shorter side, so that's why this 18" bike was perfect for him. He loves the color scheme of the bike. When he rode it around the park, all his friends wanted to ride it because the bike was "sick". The bike was easy to assemble, except for the brakes. I wasn't able to pull and tighten the wire so that the brakes would engage. I had to watch a few YouTube videos on how on properly install the brake. Thank goodness for youtube videos. Without it, I would have had to bring the bike to a shop, which was not feasible because of covid. This bike does not come with a kick stand, but has a bracket already mounted to accept a kick stand. We bought a kickstand, Schwinn Adjustable Kickstand, and it fit perfectly. Overall, this bike is an awesome value at under $100. We got this about two months ago, but I think my son is now ready to move up to a 20" bike.
