My young child loves this as well as I do. My child isn't a big fan of band aids due to their feel, but this liquid band aid is so great! Unlike others this one doesn't burn and it even has to lidocaine to help with the pain of a scratch or scrape. It's easy to apply and you can even do a thicker coat if you're worried about it. It doesn't come off easily unless submerged in water so you also don't need to worry about dirt getting in.

I tried this new brand of 'bandage' thanks to a generous Walmart cash back offer. If you only have one brand of liquid bandage at home, this is not the one I'd recommend. It is OK for very superficial scrapes or something like a rug burn, but it is not thick enough or strong enough to use to seal a small cut. The other brands use a very volatile liquid that smells like model glue and cloves and it leaves a fairly thick and robust waterproof coating with two coats. That one does sting while this new brand has no sting when applied. If you want to be fully prepared, buy both types of liquid bandage. This one is probably best for kids who won't like the sting but they have to be still while two coats dry. This might be good for treating a rash that invites frequent scratching. One good advantage of this Bactine brand is that the bottle won't dry out quickly before you have a chance to use it all. I would prefer the Curad 'flex seal' spray bandage over this, it covers a larger area fast and two coats leaves an invisible protective skin. It is also not very effective for cuts.
