Cleans well. I occasionally use the expo white board cleaner to give it a good cleaning. I use only quartet markers as they are the best IMO and always erase so well. Ive been using this board for 6 years and love it! I bought a new one only because my 10 year old pushed my oversized eraser (with all her strength) hard on it and upwards and the dry erase surface detached from the backing and rippled all up. I did get most of it to go back down, but it was still annoying so I replaced it with the same board again and this time my kid knows better. :)

love, Love, LOVE!
This magnetic dry erase board has been a lifesaver for us. We have it hanging in the kitchen, and I use it to hang school calendars, lunch menus, recipe cards, reading logs, etc. etc. I also love that I can write on it, and the marker ledge is big enough to hold several markers and pens. Shipping was super fast too!
