The Eastwood Versa-Bend Forming Brake is designed to be used with the Eastwood #14042 Versa-Bend 20" Sheet Metal Brake to create multiple bend channel shapes as narrow as 3/8" (9.5mm).
When the precision machined Versa Bend Forming Brake is teamed with the Eastwood Versa Bend Sheet Metal Brake, you are enabled to make precise bends within 3/8 in of each other up to 90 degrees in 20 gauge sheet steel and 18 gauge aluminum in widths up to 20 Inch. Create floor reinforcement channels and ribs, door sills, sections of corrugated pickup bed floors; truck bedside panels, inner fender structures and much more all with one convenient vise or bench mount tool.

Perhaps the most versatile brake on the market.
I couldn't be happier with the quality, capabilities and price of this brake. Hats-off to the designers! It will produce almost any bend you can imagine. Great for novice or pro.

limited use
Bought this to bend a 12 inch strip of 0.040 2024-T3 aluminum to 90 degrees. Simply put, The description says it will bend 18 gauge aluminum but it won't. Bending arms bend but the sheet of aluminum does not. The center of the bending angle beam actually bows - not stiff enough to hold shape. Probably good for 0.020 thick aluminum but not much more. Comes without instructions or illustrations of how to set up the bending process.
