Great Retractable Gate With a Caveat
This is easily the highest quickly retractable gate out there and it's actually child proof. The only issue is that it's not compatible with drywall because they don't provide extra long screws with anchors, which is a shame. I was fortunate enough to be able to use a couple doorways to make it work in a hallway area for me.

We were searching for a baby gate for when our granddaughter visits. This was gate was able to be installed in a 42 inch hallway. It protects her from accidently falling down the stairs, and it stores easily on the side when not in use. It is sturdy and well made. We purchased it after seeing one at a friends house. They are from Europe and had purchased one over there, and they have been using it for about 4 years now and it has held up well. It may cost a little more than a lot of others, but it is definitely safer and based on our friend's experience with the product it should hold up for years.
