Dosage
One unopened bag of crab boil is sufficient for 4 pounds of shrimp, 4 pounds of crawfish or 1 dozen crabs. To a large cooking container add 3 quarts of water, 4 tbsp. of salt, 1 unopened bag of Zatarain's Crab Boil, and 1 lemon (quartered). Add cayenne pepper to taste, if desired. Bring water mix to rolling boil. Add seafood: bring to a boil. Boil crabs vigorously for 5 minutes, crawfish 2 minutes, and shrimp 1 minute. Allow seafood to remain in water for 15-20 minutes after boiling. Adding 2 tbsp. of vinegar to the water makes crabs easier to pick.

Add a zing to any meal with Zaterains
I received a sample of Zaterains crawfish, shrimp, and crab boil from #bzzagent recently. I used it to liven up a shrimp dinner. It was so easy and added flavor without overpowering the shrimp itself. I would definitely recommend this Cajun seasoning to make your regular meal shine. Simple, easy, and delicious!

Love the convenient and fast dinner option
This crawfish, shrimp & crab boil - boil in bag is a really convenient way to get some great flavor into your seafood without added fat or too much salt. It is almost like a tea bag where you steep the shellfish in flavor while it cooks. Would try again and add some cayenne or old bay for even more flavor.

Best "boil" seasoning!
We LOVE Zatarain's Crawsh boil seasoning for so many things! It's great to use to boil crab, crawfish, shrimp, onions, potatoes, mushrooms, the list goes on. We love using Zatarain's for boils even if all we have are the potatoes and veggies! Perfectly salty, perfectly spicy!
