Mower without the bubbles

I wanted so bad for this to work for my grandson. He loves bubbles and pushing objects so this would have been perfect. The turn for the bubbles didn't work from the beginning. It kept getting stuck and wouldn't turn. He still uses it occasionally but without bubbles loses interest.
