I wasn't expecting this to work as well as it did. This small device is going to save so many pairs of shoes and boots for me now. I have foot pain issues and the latest development isn't helped by the prescription insoles or the pain pads I already have. One of the "home remedies" was to stretch out the toe-box of the footwear. I got the cheap shoe trees, thinking they'd help and they did only a little bit. But this shoe stretcher is perfect. It's easy to use and so far, so good. I like that I can feel how far it's stretching the shoe. If you need more room in your shoe or hiking boot, this is the gadget you're looking for.
