We put ice in it at night to get it cold for the next day, in the morning it was still full of ice not much had melted. My husband took it to work the next day and hardly any ice melted, which was good, but he needed more water because the ice didn't melt like normal water jugs. He even tried sitting it out in the hot sun to get the ice to melt and the ice did not melt.
