why did I put off buying a mattress for so long...

I cannot believe I have waited so long to replace my mattress. In my defense, I don't think it's something you think about until you start waking up tired and hurting in places you didn't know existed! I have chronic back pain, so I didn't necessarily recognize that my mattress could be causing my sciatica. a couple weeks ago I happened to notice this mattress was on sale and thought it was time! it came in a <80 lb box! I opened it up right on top of my box spring... it unrolled easily and the minute it was out of plastic it went from an inch thick to 12 inches! I am amazed that a queen sized matress came in a box the size of me! straight out of the box is was comfortable but kind of like a baffled water bed. 24 hrs later it was a lot more firm and so comfortable! Ofcourse I had it upside down, but it was very easy to turn over by myself. 2 days after I started sleeping on it, I no longer have sciatica going down my leg, I fall asleep easily and wake up feeling rested. I like that I feel very little movement from the other side of the bed! I don't know why I waited so long to buy a matress, and I'm so happy this was on sale! I am now going to buy one for my daughter!
