No more expensive salon products for me

I've spent most of my adult life buying salon-grade shampoo and conditioner. However, over the past 5 years, I started getting a dry, flaky scalp from most of them during the winter months. A friend recommended trying Avalon Organics and reducing the chemicals that are found in expensive salon products. I was skeptical and it took me a while to get used to the fact that the conditioner did not give me that silk feeling when combing it through in the shower. I guess I was so used to the feeling that my hair was coated in chemicals, which I mistook for nutrients. I am very pleased with the Apple Cider Vinegar line. I also plan to try some of the other formulas.

Excellent!

I've recently learned that I have low porosity hair… which I had never heard of once before in my entire life. So switched up my products to this shampoo and conditioner and my hair changed sooo much for the better. Great rating on EWG too. Highly recommend!!

My go-to favorite conditioner

Quality ingredients with a pleasant, natural scent... no masking fragrances are added. This conditioner has been my go-to favorite for years. It smoothes and adds a subtle shine, plus "bounce," to my somewhat dry and fine hair. My skin is sensitive and I find this conditioner to be soothing to my scalp, as well. After shampooing, I apply about a tablespoon of the conditioner and let it set for a couple of minutes before rinsing... I'm then able to easily finger comb through my medium-length hair. It delivers on its claims for me!
