Autolite Spark Plug Socket Set

Should have read the previous review before buying. Rubber which is supposed to hold plugs comes off. This is a problem whether removing old plugs (plug stays in engine block along with rubber) or installing new ones (plug stays attached to new spark plug you've just put in). Useless. You will regret buying this. Not worth the low cost. I had to run out late at night to get another socket to finish the job.

Wish I had read the other 2 reviews before buying this Autolite Professional Spark Plug Socket Set, "Guaranteed For Life," made in China. My 2001 Honda Odyssey has deep spark plug recesses. On my third Autolite spark plug being installed, using the matching socket from this set, the Rubber Retention Ring remained on the spark plug deep in the plug recess. It did not remain attached to the socket tool, as it should. So far, I've spent two hours trying to extract the Rubber Retention Ring from the spark plug, trying different approaches. I will need to invent a way, tomorrow. I tried pushing the socket back onto the plug, but the rubber won't allow the socket past it. Maybe WD-40? If anyone has a solution, please post it. This spark plug socket set will be returned, asap. In my humble opinion. this product should be removed from store shelves.
