1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. For enhanced taste, add 1 Tbsp butter or oil and pinch of salt per cup of rice. 2. Stir in rice, cover with a tight fitting lid, and reduce heat to simmer. 3. Simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork before serving. Dry Rice: 1 cup; Water: 1.75 cups; Yield: 3 cups; Servings: 4. Dry Rice: 2 cups; Water: 3.5 cups; Yield: 6 cups; Servings: 8. Dry Rice: 3 cups; Water: 5.25 cups; Yield: 9 cups; Servings: 12. Store in a cool, dry place.

It's a good affordable rice and works great in my pressure cooker. I make it this way thanks to my Papas wife. 2 cups of rice 2 1/4 cups of water 2 tbl spoon of oil 3 tsp of salt Drain the water from the can of gandules Put gandules in rice Drain olives and put them in rice One orange envelope of sazon goya. Mix all with spoon Turn on rice cooker or cook your rice on stove like normal With some grilled chicken marinated in McCormick's Garlic, Herb and Wine Yummy! 😋

Tasty, quality, cooks FAST!
I liked this rice very much. it is a long grain that cooks up very clean and smooth. I pre-soak my rice as recommended, it is not a long process, and rinse it off. The rice cooks quickly but I found I had to add more water than what was recommended. I would either add a quarter cup more water or just watch your rice very closely and check before the recommended time. The price has been very reasonable.
