Audubon cylindrical squirrel baffle is great!

The Audubon squirrel baffle was exactly what I was looking for at a good price. It was well-built, easy to assemble and easy to attach to a bird feeder pole at the desired height. Excellent alternative to the usual cone-shaped baffle; this is because the cylindrical baffle presents less top space than the cone baffle for bird droppings. The method of attaching the baffle to the pole is not perfect. Common to almost all squirrel baffles, the attachment method is a thin metal clip that surrounds the pole and is screw-clamped tight. The baffle rests on the clip. Over time, these clips tend to slip down the pole due to the weight of the baffle. This slip can be stopped either by using a clamp of one's pwn choosing or by wrapping a few turns of duct tape around the pole below the clip after installation.

TRY IT - YOU WON'T BE SORRY

I love this item because it truly baffles the squirrels! They have tried but had no success. I can see it will save my sanity, save money on birdseed and the mess on the ground under my feeder. I put it on a pole that held 2 feeders one on each side but I was worried it couldn't get it up off the ground high enough by the recommended height BUT it DOES. The top is between the feeders but the bottom is only two feet off the ground. I highly recommend getting it for this reason alone. It is a sturdy coated metal 2 piece that comes with metal attachment parts for pole. It slides apart, attach ring around pole at top, put baffle around pole and slide back together then install wing nut and screws. I read other reviews about label hard to remove and it probably is but I just left mine on it.

Highly recommend to prevent rats in the feeder

Works great to keep Rats off Shepard crook pole and stops them from getting to bird feeder. I don't have squirrels at this location but can assure you works great to keep rats out of the bird feeder. I have a trail camera setup showing they can't get bast the baffle.
