This update of the AT-LP120-USB turntable features a new DC servo direct-drive motor, along with adjustable dynamic anti-skate control and selectable phono preamplifier. The fully manual turntable plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records and is equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection to your computer. Just download the free Mac- and PC-compatible Audacity recording software (or software of your choice) and start converting your records to digital audio files. But in addition to the USB output, the turntable also comes with a detachable dual RCA output cable and is equipped with a built-in selectable phono preamp so you can connect directly to your home stereo, whether it has a dedicated phono input or not.The turntable features an S-shaped tonearm with adjustable tracking force and an AT-HS6 universal ½"-mount headshell with an AT-VM95E Dual Magnet™ phono cartridge. Many great features for the money
I'm getting back into vinyl after having sold my old collection and regretting it. I want to own my music and not merely rent it, so vinyl and CDs for me. I needed a good turntable that wouldn't break the bank, and this turntable was the answer after doing some research. It is easy to level and adjust without much fuss. The sound from it is very good and has a path for upgrades in the future. I inherited many 78 rpm records from my mother after she passed, so I needed a turntable that could play them. This one does it well. It also does 45 and 33 rpm records. I've always owned automatic turntables, so this manual one has taken a little getting used to. It wasn't a deal killer for me.

Supriseingly Good Turntable
This turntable is surprisingly good. My old turntable went bad, and it was no longer worth putting money into it. I do not play that much vinyl; I'm a streaming guy, so I figured with everybody having sales, I'd look around. Amazon had this one at a big discount, but they were sold out. I checked Wal-Mart, and they had the same price with extended returns until the end of January. So, getting it from Walmart was a win-win because of the great price and extended returns. The table arrived on time and took only 15 minutes to assemble. It sounds very good. The cartridge is not the best, with both the lows and highs a little recessed. I checked the cartridge setup, and it was right on the money. With the few records I spin, this is the perfect balance between price and sound quality for me.
